What do I bring to the table?
me vogue.jpg

A QA Analyst turned UX Designer, I bring 20 years of experience taking products to market, right from their conception through to live release. Having worked on numerous high profile Government projects, in online sports betting & video gaming industries, right through to e-commerce start-ups and financial powerhouses, I have a very broad and interesting mix of industry & technical knowledge!

My belief is that quality should never be a bottleneck at the end of development, it should be a mindset embedded from design through to release. Alongside my background in QA and support, I now work with AI-enhanced workflows to improve analysis, speed up iteration, and surface insights earlier in the product lifecycle.

This experience has strengthened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, while reinforcing the importance of human judgment and verification when working with AI-assisted outputs. I have a deep understanding of how products function in practice and how well they meet real business and user needs.

By combining hands-on product knowledge with practical AI literacy, I’m able to empathise with both stakeholders and users, identify motivations and pain points, and help teams make better, more informed decisions.

When working on a project I understand that a good design is not created alone in a moment of inspiration, It’s an iterative process that requires collaboration between multiple stakeholders and your end users.

I love to deliver a quality service and be involved in a product that users enjoy using and that solves their problems or needs.

I naturally enjoy helping people and solving their problems.

If you can't find me on the artboard (cheesy joke!), then you'll probably find me watching some kind of football! I'm a big fan of anything football and love all aspects of the game (Derby County fan for my sins!). My other passion is music and the art of DJ'ing, you can't beat recording a new mix on a Sunday afternoon!
